Seed Starter began with a simple idea: growing plants should be easier, more reliable, and more enjoyable.

I’m Ash, the founder of Seed Starter. I live in a small town surrounded by nature, where I share my home with my four dogs and spend much of my time experimenting with plants, seeds, and new growing ideas.

Like many growers, I was fascinated by the process of germination. Watching a tiny seed develop into a living plant never loses its sense of wonder. But I also saw how unpredictable germination could be. Temperature fluctuations, poor airflow, and unstable conditions often meant slow or uneven results.

That curiosity led to years of experimenting, prototyping, and refining a better way to start seeds.

Today, Seed Starter designs tools that create the stable conditions seeds need to germinate. Our systems are built to support reliable germination and strong early growth, helping growers move from seed to seedling with confidence.

Behind the scenes, we are supported by experienced manufacturing and engineering capability, allowing us to move from idea to production efficiently and scale as demand grows.

What began as a personal project has grown into a company focused on improving the seed starting experience for growers around the world.
