Seed Starting Instructions (quick guide)

Seed Starter tools help maintain stable germination conditions by supporting warmth and airflow around the seed. When combined with proper hydration, seeds can germinate quickly and reliably.

Follow these basic steps to begin germination.

1. Prepare the Germination Pod

Place a cotton pad into the germination pod and moisten it with water. The cotton pad should be evenly moist, not saturated.

2. Place the Seed

Place the seed gently onto the moistened cotton pad. Add a second cotton pad on top of the seed and lightly moisten it with water.

3. Maintain Germination Conditions

Seeds require three conditions to germinate:

• Hydration
• Warmth
• Airflow

Seed Starter tools help maintain stable warmth and airflow while the cotton pads provide hydration.

4. Wait for Germination

Under the right conditions, the seed will begin to germinate and the taproot will emerge. Check seeds regularly and keep the cotton pads lightly moist.

5. Move to Soil or GermiPad

Once the taproot has formed, the germinated seed can either be planted directly into soil or transferred into GermiPad to develop into a healthy seedling.
