How It Works

The GermiPad silicone skin fits securely onto the Seed Starter Heat Pack before the aluminium base plate is inserted.

Heat is transferred from the Seed Starter Heat Pack through the aluminium base plate and into the propagation chamber, where it gently warms the chosen propagation medium and provides consistent root-zone warmth for developing seedlings.

The humidity dome helps maintain a humid environment around young seedlings, while the adjustable ventilation allows airflow to be gradually increased as plants mature and acclimatise to normal growing conditions.

Growing Guidelines

For best results, place the GermiPad in an environment suitable for the plants being propagated.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or locations where excessive ambient temperatures may cause the propagation environment to overheat.

For indoor growing, provide an appropriate grow light or adequate natural light as plants develop.

Temperature, humidity and lighting requirements vary between plant species. Monitor growing conditions and adjust your setup to suit your plants.

GermiPad is designed to support healthy propagation but cannot compensate for unsuitable growing conditions.

Every GermiPad is engineered for years of reliable, repeated use.

The propagation skin is moulded from premium EU food-grade silicone for flexibility, easy cleaning and years of reuse.

The aluminium base plate distributes warmth beneath the propagation area. It is electrophoretically coated (E-coat) before receiving a durable powder-coated finish, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

Care & Cleaning

Remove the Seed Starter Heat Pack and aluminium base plate before cleaning.

The GermiPad silicone skin may be washed with warm soapy water or cleaned in the dishwasher when required.

The humidity dome should be washed by hand using warm soapy water.

The Heat Pack and aluminium base plate should not be immersed in water. If necessary, wipe both components with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth before reassembly.

Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling the system.
