Care & Cleaning

Seed Starter products are designed for repeated use and easy maintenance. Proper care helps maintain hygienic germination and propagation conditions while extending the life of your Seed Starter Ecosystem.

Heat Pack

The Heat Pack contains electronic components and must never be submerged in water or placed in a dishwasher.

To clean, disconnect the USB-C cable and wipe the exterior with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before reconnecting power.

Silicone Skins

All Seed Starter silicone skins are manufactured from high-quality EU food-grade silicone and are designed for repeated use.

This includes:

• Sprout

• FlexiGerm

• Germinator Mini

• GermiPad

Silicone skins may be:

• Washed with warm water and mild soap, or

• Placed in the dishwasher.

Allow the silicone to dry completely before reassembly or storage.

Humidity Dome

The GermiPad humidity dome should be cleaned using warm water and mild soap.

Dry with a soft cloth before reuse.

Do not place the humidity dome in the dishwasher.

Aluminium Components

The aluminium components used throughout the Seed Starter Ecosystem are protected with an electrophoretic coating (E-coat) and a durable powder-coated finish.

This includes:

• Heat Pack housing

• Germinator Mini aluminium base plate

• GermiPad aluminium base plate

To clean, wipe with a clean, damp cloth.

Do not use abrasive pads, harsh solvents, or metal polishing products.

Do not leave aluminium components submerged in water.

Storage

For best results:

• Clean all components after each use.

• Allow every component to dry completely before storage.

• Store your Seed Starter products in a clean, dry place.

• Keep the Heat Pack dry and disconnect it from power before cleaning.
