Overview

Heat Pack is a compact, USB-C powered heating platform that forms the foundation of the Seed Starter ecosystem.

Designed for growers who want accurate, adjustable temperature control, Heat Pack delivers stable, energy-efficient warmth through interchangeable Seed Starter skins. A single Heat Pack can power multiple growing applications simply by changing the skin attached to it.

Why Heat Pack Exists

Different seeds, plants and applications often require different temperatures.

Heat Pack was developed to provide stable, adjustable warmth in a compact, energy-efficient format. By allowing users to select and maintain their preferred temperature, Heat Pack provides a reliable heating platform that adapts to a wide range of applications across the Seed Starter ecosystem.

Heat Pack is the reusable foundation of the Seed Starter ecosystem.

Designed to work with interchangeable Seed Starter skins, a single Heat Pack can support different growing applications without replacing the heating platform.

As the Seed Starter ecosystem expands, the same Heat Pack can be used with future compatible products.

How It Works

Heat Pack continuously monitors temperature and supplies heat only when required.

Once the selected temperature has been reached, Heat Pack automatically reduces power while continuing to monitor temperature, maintaining stable warmth with minimal energy consumption.

Temperature is adjusted in 1°C increments using the rear controls. Heat Pack remembers the last selected temperature and automatically resumes operation when powered on again.

Usage Guidelines

Heat Pack is designed to provide controlled warmth for compatible Seed Starter skins and other suitable applications.

Select a temperature appropriate for your intended application.

Keep Heat Pack dry and do not immerse it in water.

Always use a suitable 5 V USB-C power supply capable of delivering the recommended current.

Construction

Every Heat Pack is engineered for years of reliable, repeated use.

The housing is manufactured from aluminium for excellent heat transfer and long-term durability.

The aluminium housing is electrophoretically coated (E-coat) before receiving a durable powder-coated finish, providing excellent corrosion resistance and a premium long-lasting finish.

Power & Efficiency

Heat Pack is powered by USB-C and is designed to use energy only when required.

During warm-up, Heat Pack delivers up to approximately 7.5 W to reach the selected temperature quickly before automatically reducing power to maintain stable temperatures.

Typical power consumption while maintaining temperature is approximately 0.5 W, making Heat Pack an exceptionally energy-efficient heating platform.

For best performance, use a 5 V USB-C power supply capable of delivering at least 1.5 A. A 20 W or higher USB-C power adapter is recommended.

Heat Pack is designed for use with compatible Seed Starter skins, including:

Additional compatible products may become available as the Seed Starter ecosystem continues to grow.

Care & Cleaning

Heat Pack requires very little maintenance.

Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth when required.

Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

Do not immerse the Heat Pack in water, and always keep the USB-C connector and adjustment ports dry.
